Did you know...
1 out of every 125 newborns is born with a Congenital Heart Defect?
Jack of All Hearts is a non profit organization formed to raise funds for cardiothoracic research, assist families in need of moral support, and provide financial resources to those in need due to outstanding medical bills related to pediatric cardiac care.
Hospitalization and medical care for congenital heart conditions are astronomically expensive and families of these children acquire countless bills which are unaffordable. The foundation will offer support to such families in need through funds obtained by donations.
Our involvement with this cause began the day our son was diagnosed with congenital heart disease. Going through the heartache, denial, anger and disbelief of such a diagnosis is unfathomable, not to mention the testing, waiting and surgical procedures family members endure.
Our foundation will support family members by offering numerous outreach programs and various resources. Such assistance includes online links of information regarding pediatric cardiac care, reputable pediatric hospitals nationwide offering cardiac care, counseling services, as well as a network of families who have experienced congenital cardiac problems.
Future research for pediatric cardiac defects is crucial for the care of the population to prevent frequent surgical procedures as these children grow. With the organizations donations we can help fund research development of national cardiac programs to further their medical and technical knowledge and expertise.
